  1. Shea thompson says:

This book is probably the most in depth and thorough book on all aspects of training. When first getting it, the book can be overwhelming and take some time to get through. If you have a subject you want to focus on, this book makes for an easy reference and can introduce you to areas of training that can be added to to your program. In my opinion I would suggest anyone who trains or is training athletes to have this book. It would be awesome if this was the book taught in the classroom setting to those wanting to train athletes. Highly recommend it!

thanks Shea. I wholeheartedly agree with your comments. This book When combined with the Biomechanics and Kinesiology of Exercise presents probably the most complete picture of the information that is needed for athletes and coaches to develop and carry out an effective training program.
